Beam Shaping Circuits for L Band Antenna
Kalina, Ladislav ; Pítra, Kamil (referee) ; Urbanec, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis contains design of beamforming network designed for passive radar antennas. The first part contains theory of passive radars and beamforming networks. The next part implies design of beamforming network at the block digram level. Then are choosed circuits for amplitude and phase control, including the design of control communication. It follows by realization of IQ phase shifter and his automatic measurement. Based on this results is phase shifter adjusted and PCB of 2x2 beamforming network is designed. Last part includes design of control application (Matlab) and control program for STM32F407VG microcontroller.
USBTMC bench power supply
Sehnálek, Lubomír ; Vyskočil, Pavel (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
This thesis was selected due to establishing of universal platform for USBTMC remote instrumentation and constructing a laboratory DC power supply for hobby use. This thesis is focused on design and realization of regulated linear DC power supply. At first thesis mentions kinds of DC power supplies and kinds of interfaces used for test and measurement instruments. Thesis continues by describing of blocks of a developed linear DC power supply with an USB interface following the USBTMC specification for remote control. Thesis ends by realization of the regulated linear DC power supply with USBTMC interface. It was achieved acceptable results. Communication between PC and Control module works well as same as communication between Control module and Power supply module. Maximum output ranges of voltage and current are 40V and 3A. Big interference on auxiliary supply rail decreases accuracy.
Payment Systems and Protocols - Analysis, Simulation, Verification
Kučerová, Petra ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the thesis "Payment systems and protocols - analysis, simulation, verification" is overview of payment systems in the Czech Republic, in EU, in USA and in Japan. The first part is concentrated on legislation, the second is dedicated to payment systems, the third is dedicated to payment protocols, their characteristics, used technology and security elements. Comparison of particular payment systems and of particular payment protocols is part of this work too. Thesis is also concentrated on security elements.
Semi-automatic workstation for measuring the properties of electronic circuits
Rozboud, Jakub ; Jeřábek, Jan (referee) ; Dvořák, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is devoted to the selection of a solution and subsequent implementation of a semi-automated measuring station for measuring active elements in the FGIC44 circuit. The thesis includes a basic analysis of the construction and wiring of the FGIC44 circuit. Remote control and automation of the instruments was implemented using the Keysight VEE Pro development environment. Microsoft excel was used to record and process the measured data. Four supplied chips were measured using the built measurement workstation and the results are included in the appendices of this paper.
Comparison of the Law of Foreigners in the Czech Republic and in Spain and analysis of the relevant Spanish legal terminology with a glossary
MINÁŘOVÁ, Eliška
Bachelor Thesis is focused on legislation regulating the entry and residence of foreigners in the Czech Republic and Spain. It offers a brief overview of foreigners' obligations when entering the territory, visa requirements and types of stay. Accompanied with a comparison of the mentioned content. Thesis is concluded by a terminological analysis and glossary suggesting translations of Spanish terminology from the field of immigration law.
Glycopeptide resistance in staphylococci
Rozsypálková, Adéla ; Tkadlec, Jan (advisor) ; Balíková Novotná, Gabriela (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to describe the mechanism of the resistance to glycopeptide antibiotics in a genus Staphylococcus, especially in a species Staphylococcus aureus which is common cause of nosocomial infections resulting frequently in expensive and long-term treatment. This pathogen is dangerous due to its ability to acquire resistance to most antibiotics used in a clinical practice. The resistance of these microorganisms can develop very easily due to inappropriate treatment (administration, drug concentration, duration), which, if not detected, could ultimately results in treatment failure and the death of the patient. The vancomycin resistance of S. aureus could be divide into groups according to their values of vancomycin MIC: VSSA, VISA, hVISA and VRSA. Vancomycin intermediate resistance is associated with mutation, e.g., which affect cell wall synthesis. In contrast, VRSA is associated with the transfer of the mobile genetic element with the vanA or vanB operon from genus Enterococcus. This transmission is due to co-infection with both pathogens. Glycopeptide resistance has also been shown to be very common in coagulase-negative staphylococci (CNS), such as S. capitis, which cause infection in preterm infants. Glycopeptide resistance in CNS and intermediate resistance of S. aureus is...
The Immigration Policy of David Cameron between the years 2010 and 2015
Paulíková, Veronika ; Kasáková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Rovná, Lenka (referee)
The immigration has became the main topic in many western countries during several past years. This thesis focuses on immigration policy of the United Kingdom, where immigration represents 12,5 % of the whole population. Namely it deals with immigration policy during the premiership of David Cameron in the years 2010 to 2015. This topic is relatively recent, therefore has not been sufficiently explored. Moreover, attention is usually focused on integration policy; as a consequence thesis should contribute to mapping of actual immigration policy in the United Kingdom. This thesis examines which specific changes in immigration policy have been introduced by the government of David Cameron. Immigration policy is analyzed on base of the new Immigration Act and other documents which amended new law, then on the reforms of visa policy. The main objective of the analysis is to map immigration policy of David Cameron and reveal the specific steps taken by the government. The thesis also examines whether the development of immigration policy changes are applied to all immigrants from non-EU countries, or only to a certain type of immigrants. It also rates the achievement of stated goals of the Conservative Party.
Cancelation of the visa duty for Ukraine and its impact on the Czech Republic
Vondráčková, Dominika ; Mlejnek, Josef (advisor) ; Landovský, Jakub (referee)
The association agreement between EU and Ukraine includes visa liberalization, which brings concerns about the capability of absorbing the increasing migration of Ukrainian citizens in the Czech Republic. The theses aims at showing realistic state of affairs especially through statistics and interviews with members of crucial interest groups connected to migration process. The text is demonstrating that number of Ukrainians in the Czech Republic is significantly raising, but we cannot consider this raise as intractable. The increase directly connected with visa liberalization can be clearly demonstrated at the number of tourists. Looking at the number of asylum applications, growth was not noted which is considered as sign of well-managed liberalization of migration. Significant changes cannot be seen also in the statistics of illegal migration. Nevertheless, members of foreign police agree that they observe increase of illegal Ukrainians but do not have the capacities to arrest them and register as illegal in the statistics. Visa liberalization is not the only reason of the increase of Ukrainians in the Czech Republic. Major influence is the overall socio-economic situation of both countries and especially extremely low unemployment in the Czech Republic, which creates pressure to the employers...
Analysis of the payment card market in the Czech Republic
Tomčík, Alexandr ; Hoffman, Andrej (advisor) ; Fučík, Vojtěch (referee)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is the analysis of availible data on the payment card market in the Czech Republic in years 2001 to 2016. The theoretical part focuses on the history of payment cards and when they first appeared in the territory of the Czech Republic. It further divides payment cards into several groups according to the type or technology used. The purpose of the thesis is to find out how the card market has developed, wheter Visa or MasterCard has the major share of the issued payment cards and to quantify the parameters of non-cash payments in the Czech Republic. Due to the similar level of development of contactless payment in both countries, part of the work is intended to be compared with the Slovak Republic. The last chapter presents current variants of mobile payment in several world countries and available options in the Czech Republic.
